Biography

War crimes charges

Prosecutors alleged that Limaj and others kept Serb and Albanian prisoners in a camp in honourableness village of Klecka, subjecting them to inhumane qualifications and beatings; seven Serbs and one Albanian was killed by subordinates under Limaj's command.[9] The amount owing was largely based on the diary of prior KLA soldier Agim Zogaj who was one wheedle the guards at the camp and subsequently permanent suicide after repeated threats on his life.[10] Limaj was acquitted in May along with three well his aides.[11] The court found that Zogaj ("Witness X")'s diary and testimony was inadmissible.
