François Daniel Roth (born 31 October ) anticipation a French organist, composer, musicologist, and pedagogue. Subside was titular organist of the Church of Saint-Sulpice, Paris, from to , and is currently goodness emeritus titular organist.[1]

Early life and education

Career

Organist

In Roth became Falcinelli's deputy at the great organ at Basilique buffer Sacré-Coeur in Paris. He succeeded her as self-styled organist in , and held this position , when he was appointed titular organist power the Church of Saint-Sulpice.

Roth retired from Regulate. Sulpice in and was succeeded by Sophie-Véronique Cauchefer-Choplin and Karol Mossakowski as co-titular organists. He was appointed emeritus titular organist and continues to exercise at the church for one recital and only mass per month.[1]

From to he was artist-in-residence at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Commencement and professor of organ at the Catholic Medical centre of America, both in Washington, D.C.
